The Holocene ProjectPrivacy
What we keep, and why.
This site has one form, the register-interest form. This page says what happens to what you type into it, and what else your browser sends when you visit.
The form
Only what you type, only to reply.
- What is kept: who you are (the role you pick), your name, organisation, email, your message, the page you sent it from and the time.
- Why: to get in touch with you about what you registered for. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we never sell or pass on your details.
- Where: in a database run by Cloudflare, which hosts this site.
- Spam check: when you start filling in the form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is sending it. It sees your IP address and browser details for that check. We do not store your IP address.
- How long: until you ask us to delete it, or until the project no longer needs it.
- To see or delete what we hold: send the form again from the same email address and write "delete my details" or "send me my details" in the message. We act on it within 30 days.
Visiting the site
No cookies, no tracking.
- No cookies and no advertising or analytics scripts.
- Fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
- Hosting: Cloudflare serves the site and keeps standard server logs to run and protect it, under its own privacy policy.
- The site remembers nothing about you between visits.
